BET365 Account Suspension
Logged into my account and found that I have had it suspended. Bit odd really, I'm not a heavy gambler by any stretch of the imagination. I am probably up £700 over the last 6 months. I do tend to cash out often. Anybody got any ideas why they would suspend an account?

I dont bet anymore after i got a bit carried away but Paddypower used to annoy me on cricket betting as you couldnt do multiples on top batsman.

I used to do a yankee for top batsman and bowler for each team.

Well done Grump. Maxwell seems to be a decent bet to top score for his Melbourne side, he seems to have really hit form.

Re: BET365 Account Suspension
They all do it, even the ones that claim they don't.
I dabble on the slots online and Playojo who make a massive deal about being the "fair casino" no wagering requirements etc.... 2nd time I won and withdrew from a free spins promotion they closed down all offers but denied they had, even when I got my brother to log in on his account and checked the difference in offers, basically if you win too often and they pick up on it expect to get banned

Thanks to tanman mentioning PP cricket markets, I looked and saw they have a bloody kiwi womans game for tonight, so that's another tenner fucked then, as I know fuck all about their local players ;o)

T20 stats have told me to LUMP on the following.

Perkins @4's for Auckland

Gurrey @ 9/4 for Northern Districts

Can't lose, I'll be banned by the morning no doubt..............

One thing I have noticed is you could be somewhere with the worst signal known to mankind and it takes forever and a day just to load up a webpage however if you want to stick a tenner into your betting app account it will miracuously do that faster than a fat man who sat down too fast.

I know Chelmsford. Bookies shut down anyone who makes money. Albeit they might keep them going for a while. Darren Bloom (Brighton's owner) - that geyser was/is different gear as a punter.

Re: BET365 Account Suspension
Tanman, not trying to convince you to do anything else just pointing out that Stubbos analogy of bookies is correct in that they on the whole are shysters that hate the punter having the chance of making money.

It’s the only industry where they’ll give you an offer on a casino and if you have the audacity to win with that offer they’ll ban you .

It’s also the only industry where they’ll take your money but if you have the audacity to win they’ll ask you to verify your account before giving you your money.

There’s a reason why the owner of bet365 is one of the highest paid people in the country and it’s not because the bookies play on a level playing field.

I think I will carry on my normal betting activities. Best of luck to all punters on here!

block , you need the time to place a bet .

Re: BET365 Account Suspension
tanman, arbing is not the same as match betting and the only way to win a decent amount match betting is by multi accounting which no doubt you are aware is against the rules and leads you straight to a gubbing.

Out of matching for a 10 pound free bet you'll probably make about 7 quid which is hardly going to bankrupt the bookies or indeed change their odds and considering how different odds can be from one bookie to another anyway i doubt it changes the odds hardly at all.

The big money on match betting is dutching and on the casinos . There is very little to be made on match betting once you've done the original sign up offers.

You have to have a lot of time on your hands to do it. From what I can gather.

Takes the fun out of it IMO.

Re: BET365 Account Suspension
Have you ever made any decent money out of this matching stuff? I am sure you will tell me you have. I understand hovering up a few free bets but I would rather have a proper bet rather than try to nick the odd score here or there?

Re: BET365 Account Suspension
That is not the case if you are a bookie who has to accommodate all the sellers or buyers in a market you have priced up. I used to have to deal with 'arb traders' when I worked for Sporting index. I guarantee you, if you price up a market at 20 to sell and another firm has the buy price at 19, you will get sellers - not all of them will just be doing it for value, some will be buying at the 19 with the other firm to lock in a risk free profit. It just not the type of business bookies want.

Re: BET365 Account Suspension
365 did actually contact me once to ask if I needed help as I was logged into my account for so long every day.

Bloke probably felt a bit of a cunt when I told him it was because I was watching cricket and that I had to be logged on to do it.

Sort of shows that they don't even take into account if you're doing your bollocks, as I would have only stuck a fiver on the games each day to enable me to watch them on my phone at my desk.

Fucking love my secluded desk, can get away with murder :o)

Re: BET365 Account Suspension
tanman, youre actually wrong . Match betting doesn't involve everyone betting on the same game/result and hence changing the price. Match betting means offsetting any bet you make at the bookies at the exchange as well and then getting a free bet.

Stubbo is totally correct in what he says.

Re: BET365 Account Suspension
I am currently waiting on IBAS to sort out an issue. Strangely as soon as I registered that complaint I was restricted by another bookie who I had a loosing account with.

This is all horse/greyhound related which to an extent is understandable. But football I always thought unless your foowing south east asian syndicate betting patterns you will be OK

tanman 5:11 Thu Jan 9
Re: BET365 Account Suspension
Stubbo, you are actually wrong on this point in my view, if a bookie has matched betting punters all backing one side of a market then they have to move the price, this then deprives the proper normal punter who might be having a genuine bet and is simply seeking out a bit of value.

Stubbo 4:42 Thu Jan 9
Re: BET365 Account Suspension
The real situation is that Bookies just want people who lose. They love habitual gamblers and the "when the fun stops, stop" is just lip service.

They will ban a winner much more swiftly than someone they suspect of having a gambling problem.

Basically they are shysters who want EVERYTHING stacked in their favour, not happy with the fact that the odds are already heavily weighted to give them the win. Like a casino kicking someone out who wins a couple of hands of Blackjack in a row.
